1. Nature of services

Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC provides professional installation of paint protection film (PPF), window tint, ceramic coatings and vehicle wraps. We install Pure PPF paint protection film, 3M window film (3M Ceramic IR), Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light ceramic coating and Avery Dennison wrap films. On request we also install ONE PPF paint protection film.

All services are performed by trained technicians using premium, manufacturer-backed products. However, due to the nature of these installations, results may vary based on vehicle condition, paint type, body panel complexity, prior damage, environmental factors and other variables outside our control.

2. Paint protection film — installation standards

PPF installation is a highly skilled process. While we strive for excellence on every vehicle, customers should be aware of the following industry-standard characteristics that are inherent to PPF and do not constitute defects:

• Seams and edges: We fully wrap and tuck every edge, with no pre-cut seams. However, PPF cannot always be installed as a single continuous sheet across an entire vehicle, and very complex body panels have film limitations that may need a relief cut or seam. Seam lines in these areas — particularly around complex panel edges, door jambs, bumpers, mirrors and compound curves — are a normal film limitation and do not constitute a defect.
• Micro-bubbles and moisture: Small bubbles or haze may be visible immediately following installation. This is normal and typically resolves within 7–30 days as the adhesive cures and moisture dissipates. Temperature and humidity affect cure time.
• Texture and finish variation: Slight variations in gloss or texture near edges and complex contours are inherent to film application and are not considered installation defects.
• Contamination: Despite our best efforts to work in a controlled environment, minor dust or debris particles beneath the film may occasionally occur. We will address these during our post-installation inspection, but we cannot guarantee a 100% particle-free result in all cases.

Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC does not guarantee a flawless, defect-free result on any PPF installation. We guarantee professional craftsmanship performed to a high industry standard using Pure PPF film. Pure PPF carries a manufacturer warranty of 12 years on clear (Crystal) and matte (Frost) films and 10 years on colored films. Pure PPF’s warranty applies to OEM clear-coat surfaces; it excludes repainted panels, non-painted surfaces such as headlights, carbon fiber and chrome, and issues caused by coatings or sealants not approved by Pure PPF. Where a customer chooses ONE PPF film instead, that film is covered by ONE PPF’s own limited manufacturer warranty, whose terms are set by ONE PPF and vary by film line.

3. Window tint

3M window film is installed to the shade level selected by the customer. Minor edge gaps, small bubbles during curing (typically resolving within 2–5 days) and slight distortion near defrost lines are normal characteristics and do not constitute installation defects. Our 3M window tint carries a lifetime warranty.

The customer is responsible for choosing a shade that complies with Florida law for their vehicle; we are happy to explain the legal limits. We are not responsible for tint removal or re-installation required due to law enforcement or vehicle inspection compliance issues.

4. Windshield film and legal shades

On windshields, the only tinted (shaded) option we install is a strip above the AS-1 line. For the rest of the windshield we install clear heat-rejection film only, which is designed to cut heat without adding shade.

For every window, the customer is responsible for choosing film and shades that comply with Florida law for their vehicle. We are happy to explain the legal limits, but we are not responsible for removal or re-installation required due to law enforcement or vehicle inspection compliance issues.

5. Ceramic coatings

Our 5-year ceramic coating package uses Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and includes paint correction before the coating is applied. Vehicles with excessive scratches or heavy swirls may need an in-person assessment for an accurate quote.

Ceramic coating results are directly affected by the condition of the paint surface. We cannot guarantee coating performance or appearance on vehicles with pre-existing paint defects, oxidation or prior substandard work beyond what the included paint correction can address. Longevity of ceramic coatings depends on proper maintenance by the vehicle owner following our care instructions.

6. Vehicle wraps

Color-change and custom wraps may show edge lifting over time, particularly in high-heat climates such as Florida. Results vary based on body panel condition, paint adhesion quality and panel complexity. Certain vehicle surfaces such as textured trim, recessed areas and sharp body lines may require specific techniques that can result in visible seams. Our vinyl wraps carry a 5-year warranty.

7. Pre-existing conditions

Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC is not responsible for pre-existing paint damage, rust, dents, scratches or other surface imperfections that may become more visible after film or coating application. Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle with a technician before service begins.

8. Payment and corrections

Payment is due upon completion of service. If a customer has concerns about the installation, they must notify us within 5 business days of vehicle pickup so we may inspect the vehicle and determine whether a correction is warranted under these terms. Corrections determined to be the result of installer error will be performed at no charge. Issues attributed to normal industry characteristics, vehicle condition or customer-caused damage are not covered.

Any invoice not paid within three (3) calendar days of the invoice date will incur a late fee equal to 5% of the outstanding balance. Any invoice not paid within seven (7) calendar days of the invoice date will incur an additional late fee equal to 5% of the outstanding balance, for a maximum late fee of 10%.

The existence of a warranty claim, workmanship concern or service dispute does not relieve the customer of the obligation to pay for completed services. Gulf Coast Auto Studio reserves the right to inspect and evaluate any claimed defects, damages or workmanship concerns before authorizing corrective action.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC is not responsible for incidental, consequential or indirect damages arising from any service. By authorizing service, the customer acknowledges they have read and agreed to these terms.
