Lakewood Ranch is still building out. New neighborhoods keep going up east of I-75, so a normal drive can mean sharing Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Lorraine Road or SR 64 with gravel trucks, concrete mixers and loose stone at site entrances. That’s exactly the debris that chips a new hood.
Then there’s I-75 itself. If you commute toward Tampa or downtown Sarasota, the front bumper, hood leading edge and mirrors take the hits. A Full Front package covers those areas: full bumper, full hood and fenders, mirror caps and headlights.
If your car is new, that’s the ideal time for film. We still inspect the paint first, correct any swirls, then install. PPF locks in whatever is underneath, so that prep step matters.

How we install the film.
- Disassembly where needed. Badges, trim and lights come off so the film wraps around edges instead of stopping short.
- Edges wrapped and tucked. Every edge is fully wrapped and tucked, with no pre-cut seams. Very complex panels have film limitations and may need a relief cut or seam.
- Finish choice. Crystal (clear gloss) or Frost (satin, full body only).
- Brands. Pure PPF is our main film. We also install ONE PPF, a Sarasota-based film brand, on request.

From the north, take I-75 south to exit 210 (Fruitville Road), go east to Cattlemen Road, then south to Palmer Boulevard and Porter Road; Porter Lake Drive is just off Porter Road. From Main Street that’s roughly 8 miles. University Park drivers can use the same route. Most PPF jobs are drop-offs, so we agree drop-off and pick-up times when you book. Should I put PPF on a brand-new car right away?
It’s the best time, before the first chips. We still inspect the paint under studio lights first, because new cars can arrive with transport marks or dealer-wash swirls that should be corrected before film goes on.

How long will my car be at the studio?

Can I get satin (matte) PPF?
Yes, as Full Body. Pure PPF Frost gives gloss paint a satin finish, and we only offer it on full body so every panel matches.
