At Gulf Coast Auto Studio in Sarasota, our 5-year ceramic coating package with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light starts from $1,000 for coupes, $1,350 for sedans, $1,500 for SUVs and $1,750 for trucks. Paint correction is included. Vehicles with excessive scratches or heavy swirls may need an in-person assessment for an accurate quote.

What you’re paying for.
- Inspection. We look at the paint under studio lighting with you.
- Decontamination. Full wash and clay to remove bonded grime.
- Paint correction. Machine polishing to remove swirls and light defects.
- Coating. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light applied by hand, panel by panel. Gtechniq describes it as a silicon dioxide–based coating rated for up to five years of protection when properly applied and maintained.
What changes the price?
- Size. More paint takes longer to correct and coat.
- Paint condition. Heavy swirls or deep scratches mean more correction, which is why those cars are assessed in person.
Coating and PPF together

Why does ceramic coating cost so much?
Most of the price is prep labor, not the bottle. The paint is washed, decontaminated and machine-polished before the coating goes on, because the coating locks in whatever is underneath.
Is paint correction extra?
No, paint correction is included in our 5-year package. Vehicles with excessive scratches or heavy swirls may need an in-person assessment for an accurate quote.
Do you offer cheaper 1- or 3-year coatings?
No. We offer one package: the 5-year Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light package.
Is ceramic coating worth the money?
It’s worth it if you’re keeping the car, it lives outside, or you want quicker washing. It doesn’t stop rock chips; that’s what PPF is for.
