1. Nature of services
Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC provides professional installation of paint protection film (PPF), window tint, ceramic coatings, and vehicle wraps using 3M-certified materials including 3M Ceramic IR Window Tint and 3M Scotchgard Pro Series 200 PPF.
All services are performed by trained technicians using industry-leading products. However, due to the nature of these installations, results may vary based on vehicle condition, paint type, body panel complexity, prior damage, environmental factors, and other variables outside our control.
2. Paint protection film — installation standards
PPF installation is a highly skilled process. While we strive for excellence on every vehicle, customers should be aware of the following industry-standard characteristics that are inherent to PPF and do not constitute defects:
Seams and edges: PPF cannot always be installed as a single continuous sheet across an entire vehicle. Visible seam lines, particularly around body panel edges, door jambs, bumpers, mirrors, and compound curves, are normal and expected outcomes of a full-body installation.
Micro-bubbles and moisture: Small bubbles or haze may be visible immediately following installation. This is normal and typically resolves within 7–30 days as the adhesive cures and moisture dissipates. Temperature and humidity affect cure time.
Texture and finish variation: Slight variations in gloss or texture near edges and complex contours are inherent to film application and are not considered installation defects.
Contamination: Despite our best efforts to work in a controlled environment, minor dust or debris particles beneath the film may occasionally occur. We will address these during our post-installation inspection, but we cannot guarantee a 100% particle-free result in all cases.
Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC does not guarantee a flawless, defect-free result on any PPF installation. We guarantee professional craftsmanship performed to the highest industry standard using 3M-certified materials.
3. Window tint
3M Ceramic IR Window Tint is installed to the shade level selected by the customer. Minor edge gaps, small bubbles during curing (typically resolving within 2–5 days), and slight distortion near defrost lines are normal characteristics and do not constitute installation defects. We are not responsible for tint removal or re-installation required due to law enforcement or vehicle inspection compliance issues.
4. Ceramic coatings
Ceramic coating results are directly affected by the condition of the paint surface prior to application. We recommend and offer paint correction services prior to coating application. We cannot guarantee coating performance or appearance on vehicles with pre-existing paint defects, oxidation, or prior substandard work unless paint correction is performed first. Longevity of ceramic coatings depends on proper maintenance by the vehicle owner following our care instructions.
5. Vehicle wraps
Color-change and custom wraps may show edge lifting over time, particularly in high-heat climates such as Florida. Results vary based on body panel condition, paint adhesion quality, and panel complexity. Certain vehicle surfaces such as textured trim, recessed areas, and sharp body lines may require specific techniques that can result in visible seams.
6. Pre-existing conditions
Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC is not responsible for pre-existing paint damage, rust, dents, scratches, or other surface imperfections that may become more visible after film or coating application. Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle with a technician prior to service commencement.
7. Payment and corrections
Payment is due upon completion of service. If a customer has concerns about the installation, they must notify us within 5 business days of vehicle pickup so we may inspect the vehicle and determine whether a correction is warranted under these terms. Corrections determined to be the result of installer error will be performed at no charge. Issues attributed to normal industry characteristics, vehicle condition, or customer-caused damage are not covered.
Any invoice not paid within three (3) calendar days of the invoice date will incur a late fee equal to 5% of the outstanding balance.
Any invoice not paid within seven (7) calendar days of the invoice date will incur an additional late fee equal to 5% of the outstanding balance, for a maximum late fee of 10%.
The existence of a warranty claim, workmanship concern, or service dispute does not relieve the customer of the obligation to pay for completed services. Gulf Coast Auto Studio reserves the right to inspect and evaluate any claimed defects, damages, or workmanship concerns prior to authorizing corrective action.
8. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. Gulf Coast Auto Studio LLC is not responsible for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from any service. By authorizing service, the customer acknowledges they have read and agreed to these terms.
